BLACK HOLES – This is a big, impressive shell mirror. Magically rich in details and a true conversation piece. There was much talk in media about the first successful photo taken of a black hole when this piece was on our work table. Along the process – probably subconsciously – we found ourselves creating black holes by lining the inside of the barnacles with black lava sand. This trick created a contrasting effect for this overall off-white signature piece. "Majestic", one studio visitor claimed.

ALWAYS UNIQUE, ALWAYS ORIGINAL – Just like a single shell, every Shellman art work is a true one-of-a-kind.
